Is it really necessary?
In my house we have to do
our homework every
night after tea, the tv goes off,
we sit around and
do our homework, do our homework,
do our homework,,,
do our homework four nights a week.

Is it really good for our brains?
Does it really help us to learn new things?
Isn't that why we go to school? To learn things.
Don't we come home at 3 o'clock because
we've had enough? Our brains are tired and
they need a rest.

I bet I will be doing four hours a day of
homework when I get to college, isn't that
enough?

Why don't we get cool homework? We could
be given cartoon homework, or chocolate eating
homework or PS2 homework, how cool would
that be to have to practice Spongebob volcano
island every day?

To be honest since I have been doing homework
for whaea Erina my maths has got way better
and I have won heaps of maths contests, my
reading has got better because I read every night.

So to end my speech I think kids really should
do homework as long as it involves cartoons,
chocolate or PS2.
